Triangle Businesses Support June 10th Women's Power Networking Expo to Benefit Children with Cancer

The June 10th Women Helping Women Expo, from 5-9pm at the Wake County Shrine Club, features 80+ vendors and thousands of dollars in donated raffle prizes to benefit Striving for More. Admission $10.

    RALEIGH, NC, June 02, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Women's Power Networking 2nd Annual Women Helping Women Expo Charity Fundraiser continues to build momentum as additional prizes and donations have been received, guaranteeing more winners and an unforgettable evening to benefit Striving for More—a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that children with cancer and their families receive quality emotional and spiritual support.

Pamela Wilkins, the coordinator of 2010 event said, "Women's Power Networking www.WomensPowerNetworking.com chose Striving for More www.Striving4More.org for a number of reasons—the love, emotional and spiritual support they give to children with cancer and their families; to support Diane Moore, Founder and President of Striving for More and a member of the Morrisville chapter of Women's Power Networking: Coffee and Contacts; and to honor Diane's nine-year-old daughter Colleen, who died of cancer June 9, 2008."

"I am moved by the hard work and dedication the ladies of Women's Power Networking and the Women Helping Women Expo team are doing to ensure the success of the Expo for everyone involved," said Diane Moore. "We are all looking forward to an enjoyable evening that increases community awareness regarding the emotional needs of children with cancer and their families."

The fundraiser will take place June 10th at the Wake County Shrine Club, 6015 Lead Mine Road in Raleigh beginning at 5:00pm. Admission is $10 and includes light appetizers. Attendees will be able to purchase wine by the glass for $5 and raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 25 tickets for $20. Proceeds will go to Striving for More.
