Rock for Autism Charity Online Auction Launches All-Star Auction to Benefit Autism Movement Therapy.
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 14, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Under the banner of Autism Movement Therapy, the non-profit organization produces all-star concerts monthly to help fund therapy dogs for children with autism. The therapy dogs are $13,000 each and really make a difference for special needs children. Transitioning among school day activities are oftentimes a huge challenge for our kids with autism. A service dog provides a focus through which the child can feel safe, interact with other children while increasing the opportunity for the child to develop social and language skills and most importantly, make friends in his school and his community.
