The Nourishing Kitchen of NYC and New York Women's Culinary Alliance Partnering for the Children of East Harlem
The Nourishing Kitchen of NYC and New York Women's Culinary Alliance are partnering to provide nutrition and culinary instruction for those children in East Harlem who are most in need.
NEW YORK, NY, July 22, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- The Nourishing Kitchen of New York City is pleased to be the recipient of $1,500.00 from the Charitable Giving Committee of the New York Women's Culinary Alliance. These funds will go directly to the 2010 Junior Chef Program, which takes disadvantaged youth ages 6-12 and teaches them how to make good choices through nutrition and the culinary arts.
"The Nourishing Kitchen is proud to have such a vibrant community supporting our Junior Chefs, we truly believe in their mission," says Founder and Chef Gina Puzzanhgera. "100% of this donation will go directly to enhancing and expanding our Junior Chef Program."
