ROCKLAND, ME, November 17, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ --Dr. Ralph "Ted" F. Field, Principal of Chatwold Associates, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Dr. Field serves as the principal of Chatwold Associates. His day-to-day responsibilities include personal coaching, expanding the client base and material development. He also teaches an online course at University of Maryland University College (UMUC). He became involved in his profession through the study of human migration and by working in management with census takers and professional staff after time spent in the Peace Corp. Using applied sociology, he became the Director of Education for American Forests and entered into the education field. He has been a Professor of Management and Non-profit Program Director at UMUC. He is active in nonprofit work. He is also a poet.
In 1988, Dr. Field received a Ph.D. in development sociology from Cornell University. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the Rockland Penobscot Bay Chamber of Commerce, and completed an Institute for the Study of World Politics fellowship.
