Adrienne Bitoy Jackson has led an illustrious career spanning 20 years in the field of project management and government support leadership. A recognized authority in the fields of strategic planning, resourcing and evaluation, market development and technical writing, Ms. Jackson is a bright and dynamic enterpriser who has amassed an impressive amount of experience in the non-profit sector.
Her professional accomplishments have included directing $1.65 million in federal funds to information and communication technologies and digital inclusion projects, authoring a winning submission for The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, and managing CRM relationships ranging from $.33 to $47 million in fund development. Additionally, Ms. Jackson coordinated the scheduling and completion of 3,500 occupational assessments through a volunteer network in the Illinois Tri-County area. Throughout her career, she has served as a non-profit management consultant, a program director of a public and private partnership, and as project executive at a government-funded management office.
Today, Ms. Jackson serves as the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness for the Chicago Housing Authority - a governmental organization that provides affordable housing options - and as the President and CEO of Heuristics Marketing Consultants, a management consultation provider. As such, she endeavors in capacity building, training and partnership development, project management and non-traditional forms of education. She writes grants, manages internal marketing campaigns, manages all HR functions, oversees board and resource development and markets the organizations through research and graphic design.
To each of her current posts, Ms. Jackson brings a master of science in adult education from Northern Illinois University, a bachelor of science in business administration from Chicago State University, and several professional certifications including those pertaining to project management, ATODA prevention, and governmental executive programming. In addition to her strong credentials, she credits her success to her optimistic nature and desire to make the world a better place. Of course, being an inspiring and effective problem solver has only furthered her career. To date, Ms. Jackson has been recognized with the Kathy Osterman Award for Professional Excellence and the Ambassador Award through the Ambassador of Mercy Program. She has also been inducted to the Who's Who of American Women and the Outstanding Young Women of America.
The Chicago Housing Authority is the largest manager of federally subsidized rental housing in the city of Chicago, providing homes to more than 30,000 individuals, while supporting healthy communities in neighborhoods all across the city. CHA has almost 9,500 apartments in buildings designated for seniors and plans more than 15,000 units of family housing. It also oversees the administration of more than 35,000 Housing Choice vouchers that allow low-income families to rent in the private market.
