David Fogleman Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
David Fogleman celebrates 30 years in the aerospace industry
SHREVEPORT, LA, August 17, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- David Fogleman, Director of Aerospace Technology for Southern University at Shreveport, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in aviation services.
Utilizing over 30 years of professional experience in aviation and education, Mr. Fogleman oversees the aerospace technology program, equipment and supplies, and acts as liaison between the University and the Federal Aviation Administration. Prior to attaining his position, he worked as a mechanic in the airline and in private aviation industries. He was recently invited to assist in developing an aviation maintenance school in Tanzania. He has also been active in missionary work for several years, and currently assists an orphanage in India and an aviation ministry in the Caribbean.
In addition to earning his Master of Education from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 1993, Mr. Fogleman has also obtained several industry-related certifications. He is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He attributes his success to hard work and faith in God. In the future, he hopes to establish a program for high school students to train for certification in aviation maintenance.
