Robin Ann Greengrove brings 27 years of experience to youth services organization

    EAST ORANGE, NJ, September 24, 2010 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Robin Ann Greengrove, School Nurse Supervisor for Youth Consultation Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pediatric nursing.

A 27-year veteran of the patient care field, Robin Ann Greengrove is best noted for her expertise in pediatrics, education, and pediatric intensive care nursing. She works primarily in the Health Services Division of Youth Consultation Services, a nonprofit organization that provides homes, community services and education for emotionally disturbed children. Currently in her second year as school nurse supervisor, Ms. Greengrove travels to five schools for site visits and is in charge of the training and development for six school nurses. She performs myriad responsibilities, including in-servicing, restructuring policies and procedures for school nurses, enhancing communications between schools and resident homes, and precepting for other nurses.

Ms. Greengrove is also a respected instructor, and has taught puberty and hygiene classes to prekindergarten through sixth-grade students at Lincoln Elementary School. In addition to her work in youth services, she is employed by Atlantic Health System on a per diem basis and cares all ages of children in the pediatric and the pediatric intensive care unit of a local hospital. Ms. Greengrove became a registered nurse in 1984 and received a bachelor of science in nursing in 1983 from Wagner College. She became a certified school nurse in 2006 through Caldwell College and a certified pediatric nurse in 2001 through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. A member of the Association of Camp Nurses, Ms. Greengrove volunteers regularly with the Girl Scouts of the USA.
