Prevent Child Abuse Utah Wins Fundraising Auction Tool
Red Apple Auctions announces sweepstakes winner and prize, a teaching series focused on raising more money through interactivity at a charity auction, is awarded.
ALEXANDRIA, VA, February 25, 2011 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Prevent Child Abuse Utah is the winner of Red Apple Auctions', Facebook sweepstakes. The non-profit wins Charity Auction Bells & Whistles, a video tutorial series that teaches groups how to make more money while improving the guest experience at fundraising auctions. The program teaches 22 different games, raffles, and activities that can be incorporated into a gala to keep an event fun, cutting-edge, and profitable.
"I'm excited to award the teaching series to Prevent Child Abuse Utah," said Sherry Truhlar, benefit auctioneer and founder of Red Apple Auctions. "First, their gala auction will become more interactive. Second, they can use many of the activities at their non-auction events in order to raise money in clever, engaging ways."
Gina Bell of Prevent Child Abuse Utah entered the "Be a Fan" sweepstakes in January.
"I saw the sweepstakes on Facebook and it was an easy decision to reach out for resources that can help us raise more money. I am excited to get started with the videos," said Bell.
Prevent Child Abuse Utah is a non-profit organization committed to breaking the cycle of child abuse through education and training. Operating since 1982, the organization works with the Utah education system and provides school-based child abuse prevention programs.
