AUSTIN, TX, May 28, 2011 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Each year in June, Crime Victims First (http://www.crimevictimsfirst.org) honors an individual or agency that has gone above the call of duty providing support and assistance to our nonprofit victims' rights resource center. Their efforts help us achieve our mission to promote and protect victims' rights. This year the award is named The Stewart Family Outstanding Community Service Award to also honor the Stewart Law Firm.
Crime Victims First is proud to announce the following winners for 2011-2012:
J. Shriner/KVUE News - For their media coverage of our nonprofit and our annual Jam 4 Justice Victims' Rights Outreach Concert and for additional coverage of our special events. Without their support it would be more difficult for us to promote the nonprofit and our victim services and programs.
Jeff Lofton - For his support and assistance as a board member, services as a Jazz Trumpeter playing at both our Jam 4 Justice Concerts, and for his media both radio/television interviews and outreach.
Jeremiah Reagan/http:www.thenerdblurb.com - For their technology support including donated services to upgrade our website, online education program, content management system, and much more.
Whitney Drury - For volunteering as our Director of Outreach & Development and her efforts to research and write grant proposals and for all she does to keep the dream alive.
Daniel Davison - For his contributions when they mattered most. Without his support Jam 4 Justice Victims' Rights Outreach Concerts would not happen. He also provides valuable emotional support to the staff and volunteers.
