Citizens for Sheltered Animals (CSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. In 1987, Rick Kerr of Santa Clarita, CA discovered that over 8 million healthy animals were being killed in animal shelters every year and decided he wanted to do something to reduce those numbers.
