The Marie Strain International Peace Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace globally. They are also involved in fundraising to assist in providing water for people in Tanzania, helping children and families in Africa through the sales of mugs, pens, notepads, and magnets, all uniquely designed by Barbara.
Barbara is extremely passionate about healing the world through the promotion of peace. She is actively involved with Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, the greater Boston area's oldest interfaith social justice network, whose mission is "to mobilize congregations and communities across economic, religious, racial, and ethnic boundaries so that, in partnership, we can work more effectively for a just society."
