Emira Woods to be a Guest Speaker at Sister Girl's Annual Benefit Concert

Sister Girl Presents, Inc. is pleased to announce Ms. Emira Woods as its Guest Speaker at its annual Christmas Benefit Concert, to be held in Silver Spring, Maryland on December 3 at 7:30pm.

    MITCHELLVILLE, MD, November 04, 2011 /Nonprofit PR News/ -- Ms. Woods, co-director of Foreign Policy In Focus at the Institute for Policy Studies, a policy and research resource for visionary social justice movements across borders, has been invited to share insights on the importance of social movements and the role donors play in supporting grassroots organizations that take firm roots in communities.

"We are truly excited to have Ms. Woods join us for this Benefit Concert and share her thoughts based on her wealth of knowledge on foreign policy with a special emphasis on Africa." says Carrinne Mappy Cooper, Founder and Executive Director of Sister Girl Presents, Inc. Proceeds from the event will aid JCCM International Orphanage orphan dormitory and R.E.A.P. Orphans Outreach program.
