Magnificent Manager Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
John Grabish has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable professional career.
THUNDER BAY, ON, CANADA, February 25, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- John Grabish has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable professional career. As Manager of Caring Hands Kampala for the past 4 years, John has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Caring Hands is a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers who assist neighborhood of Kampala families living in poverty, giving them new hope for the future. Their goal is to break the cycle of poverty in families in the community. Caring Hands is involved in material, psycho-social, and spiritual support; and by networking and giving information on existing available services for HIV positive individuals. The organization's volunteers make home visits; distribute food, used clothing and seed; and assist with medical and mental care, funeral costs, and school expenses for children.
Caring Hands has trained over 1000 people in Uganda and about 51 women in making beads out of recycled paper to make jewelry, which is sent to markets around the world. This has given the women self-esteem, put a smile on their faces, and alleviated the struggles with poverty. The profits are used for various charitable activities.
Mr. Grabish takes care of the North American region for the organization. He is involved with several charitable organizations to assist those living in poverty. John is an integral part of a fundraiser to build houses in Africa. He is extremely passionate about helping the poor no matter what country they live in.
