Phenomenal Philanthropist Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Kathleen Walk to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her phenomenal philanthropic efforts.
GRAND ISLAND, NE, March 13, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dr. Kathleen Walk to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her phenomenal philanthropic efforts. As Founder and Executive Director of Hope International Services, as well as throughout her incredible professional career, Dr. Walk has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Hope International Services is a nonprofit organization which exists to promote Christian missionary endeavors worldwide with an emphasis on planting churches through healing crusades and training Christians and their leaders through international radio and short term ministry. They also send medical teams to third world countries, and they have built a hospital in Nigeria and a medical center in Bangladesh, as well as opened a school in Pakistan.
Dr. Walk is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations. She is a Family Physician and has an international radio program in 180 countries. Dr. Walk has also published two books. During her collegiate career, she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska and an Undergraduate degree from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. Dr. Walk is a member of the Christian Medical Society, Nebraska Academy of Family Practice, and Nebraska Medical Association.
