Voice Of The Veterans Ascends To The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Jerry Charles PhD has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his phenomenal professional career.

    PORT ANGELES, WA, March 11, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Jerry Charles PhD has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his phenomenal professional career. As a Tribal Veteran Representative of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe for the past 8 years, Dr. Charles has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe is a sovereign, federally-recognized Indian Nation, with its own constitution and government. In addition to self-governance, the Tribe has many Tribal administrative departments which oversee the everyday function of the reservation and provide for Tribal members.

Dr. Charles is responsible for providing community and Tribal leadership. He provides assistance to Native American Veterans in numerous ways. His success stems from the passion he has for what is and is not happening to and for the Veterans and Retirees in the United States. Jerry serves as the voice for those who have fought and served the country, ensuring to the best of his ability that they are taken care of.

During his collegiate career, Dr. Charles earned a PhD in Philosophy. Jerry served as a Captain in the United States Army from 1974-1999. He is affiliated with the American Legion, Advocates for American Indian Veterans, Joint American Indian Veterans Advocacy Council, Military Officers Association of America, American Military Retiree Association, Field Artillery Association, 1st INF DIV Association, Voices for Veterans, National American Indian Veterans, American Veterans, Vietnam Veterans of American, Elwha Klallam Veterans Group.
