Claire Austin Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Claire Austin has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her spectacular professional career.
MELBOURNE, VIC, AUSTRALIA, June 9, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Claire Austin has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her spectacular professional career. As Chief Executive of the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria, Claire has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Rural Workforce Agency Victoria is a nonprofit organization which works with communities that have underserviced health needs. They do this through a number of initiatives that recruit, support and advocate for the health workforce throughout rural and regional Victoria. The organization's recruitment and ongoing support services have been successful in increasing and maintaining rural doctor numbers in Victoria. Their priorities include recruitment of rural doctors including specialist outreach services, supporting doctors who have been recruited and their families, and providing ongoing support as long as they remain in rural practice.
Claire is responsible for running the daily operations, strategic planning for expansion, coordinating services, and lecturing. During her collegiate career, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Policy from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Claire is also a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and she completed the International Health and Leadership Program at Cambridge University. She is a member of the Australia Institute of Management.
