Pam Henry Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Pam Henry to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the community.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, June 30, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Pam Henry to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the community. As Chairperson of the Oklahoma City Mayor's Committee on Disability Concerns, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Pam has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
The Oklahoma City Mayor's Committee on Disability Concerns' mission is to raise awareness for the purpose of improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and advocating removal of physical and attitudinal barriers. The committee meets once a month to discuss issues and formulate strategies.
During her collegiate career, Pam earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech Broadcasting from the University of Oklahoma. She serves as an Advisory Committee Member for the Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. Pam also serves on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma. In addition, she was inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 2004 and she was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Women in Radio and Television in 2003.
